• Munupi Arts & Crafts Association is located along Melville Islands north-western coastline at Pirlangimpi (Garden Point) and is the most recently formed art centre on the Tiwi Islands. In 1990 the Yikikini Women’s Centre and Pirlangimpi Pottery were incorporated under the name Munupi Arts and Crafts Association giving local artists an opportunity to proudly celebrate Tiwi culture through both traditional and contemporary mediums.
  
  For 25 years, Munupi Art has been a vital meeting place for the Tiwi people of the Pirlangimpi community for employment, cultural pride and well being. Munupi Art is wholly indigenous owned and governed. Generated income supports the artist's families and therefore the whole Tiwi community.

• Judy Napangardi Watson was born at Yarungkanji, Mt. Doreen Station, at the time when many Warlpiri & other Central & Western Desert Peoples were living a traditional nomadic life. Judy was taught painting by her elder sister, Maggie Napangardi Watson. She painted alongside her at Warlukurlangu artists for a number of years, developing her own unique style. She is at the forefront of a move towards more abstract rendering of Jukurrpa by Warlpiri artists, however her work retains strong kurruwarri, the details which tell of the sacredness of place and song in her culture. Judy Napangardi Watson has been exhibiting artwork since 1990 throughout Australia & around the world. Her works are featured in several major collections.

  "My art is influenced by both my Kalkadoon and Bandjin stories and styles. My work involves embedding Aboriginal symbols, colours, contrasts, vantage points, and abstract designs to tell the stories of my people."
  
  Justin Butler is an Aboriginal man from the Kalkadoon people of the Mt Isa region and Bandjin people of Munnamadahnamee (Hinchinbrook Island.) Justin's totem is the Emu foot from his Kalkadoon lineage and Yimba (Pelican) from his Bandjin lineage. Justin also has ties and connec­tion to the Jirrabal, Warragamay and Tagalaka Aboriginal people.
